How to get to El Rompido, Huelva, Andalusia, Spain, Costa de la Luz

El Rompido is in a great location, coming from Punta Umbria it is only 30 minutes to Huelva capital, as well as 15 minutes to Cartaya, the municipality to which it belongs to. To get there you must come by car or bus, there are no train stations or airports in El Rompido, Punta Umbria, Cartaya or Lepe.
Highway
The A-497 highway is the road that connects Punta Umbria with Huelva capital, and it is the road to which you can access El Rompido. Other roads to get to Huelva and from there to El Rompido are the N435 highway that joins the province of Huelva with Extremadura, the N-431 and A-49 if your coming from Portugal or from Seville.
Train
To come by train to El Rompido you only have one option. You will have to go to the RENFE train station in Seville and from there take a train to Huelva. Once in Huelva you can easily catch the bus that will take you to El Rompido or Cartaya and from there to El Rompido.
Airplane
If you're coming by airplane, to get to El Rompido you have two options. Either land in the International Faro Airport in Portugal or from the International Seville Airport. From both places you can take a bus or train to Huelva capital and from there another bus to town.
In both airports you have the opportunity to rent a car and drive to El Rompido. Faro is 95kms away and Seville is 105kms away.
